This is a little bit more of the new couch (per Jodi's request) I also painted the room a deep terra cotta and added to the drapes.
Mitchell taught himself to ride a two-wheeler last week. He is very proud of himself. When we got home from church he said he wanted to ride his bike as a missionary.
We had a cul-de-sac party. Mitchell was fortunate enough to get the full effects of the volcano of soda.
Mark finds something amusing.
Watching the craziness.
Mitchell (in his taekwondo outfit -- yes he takes the class, but today he just wanted to wear the outfit) explains things to Victoria.
Mitchell and Victoria.
Mitchell started t-ball. He says he wants to play BASEball. He also uses a toy mitt that really embarrasses Mark.
Mitchell did not have a good time. He kept telling Mark he had a secret he needed to tell him -- just trying to get Mark to stop the boat.
This was the second time out. They had a really good time.
This was the first time out. The water was COLD.
As you can see, Mark is at his favorite spot, trying to dunk the kids.

Amy got a zoo pass and now tries to make everybody go to the zoo with her. Grandma and Chloe look at snakes.
Mitchell poses beautifully.
Mitchell, Chloe, Grandma and Victoria stand behind the waterfall in the butterfly exhibit at the zoo.
Mitchell holds a monarch butterfly in the exhibit, while Chloe tries to catch one herself.
Chloe poses in front of the waterfall.
Chloe got to hold a butterfly.
Next to the giant elephant statue
Mitchell, Grandma, Chloe, Amy, Victoria and Sebastian waiting for the bird show.
Mitchell, Chloe and I wait for the bird show to begin.
Sebastian is one cool dude with his ipod fan.
Mitchell, Chloe and Victoria stare at some animals.
Mitchell loved the snakes.
Mitchell was excited to see the giraffes until he found a little silk worm hanging from the trees and became fascinated with that (it is on his finger.)
Mitchell tamed this wild caterpillar at the zoo.
I have one of these pictures from when I was a kid.
Bonneville Elementary had field day 3 days before the end of school. There were races, blow up toys, candy and fun. Parker had a good time.
Mitchell got a chance to slide a few times.
Parker's team for the relay race. They won.
Parker coming in for the win.
Zach was far too cool to join in on the fun at Field day.
3rd grade tug-of-war.
Mitchell and Mark got to join in with the parents and teachers against the kids, and lost pitifully.
50 yard dash. Parker came in 1st in the 1st heat and was way ahead in the final heat until 2 kids came from behind to beat him right at the end. That kid on his left ended up beating him, but Parker beat him in the 1st heat.
3rd place for 3rd grade boys.
Mitchell "gladulated" preschool and is now on to kindergarten -- the holy grail of adulthood.
Finally earned his diploma.
Mitchell's graduating class.
We got a new cat (and a new couch that instantly puts me to sleep.)
