Me-hee-co

So for our vacation this year, we all took a week cruise to Mexico. I was kind of worried that I wouldn't get to have any fun with Ashton not letting us really enjoy the ship, but after a couple of days he was great.

Everybody on the ship, especially the waiters, loved Ashton. At first I thought it was for a bigger tip, but even waiters that weren't near us would come over to Ashton. The guy behind the pizza counter always wanted to hold him, and by the end Ashton did NOT want to go to the pizza cafe. Ashton did like our Assistant waiter, Bilge (pronounced Bil-gay - he told us we could call him Bill Gates) and he tolerated a few others. He only let Bilge hold him and carry him around though.
This is Bilge holding Ashton.

We got to go snorkeling in Cabo San Lucas, hang out on a beach while the kids did boogie boards in Matzatlan, and Parker and I went ziplining in Puerto Vallarta. After the ziplining, we got to go in a cage with spider monkeys. They were so cute! I've always wanted to hold little monkeys.

We all enjoyed our fabulous dinners. Parker ate 3 lobsters on lobster night, and Mark and Zach each had 4. Mitchell ate cheese ravioli and a baked potato every single evening. Ashton ate enough pizza and icecream to feed an impoverished nation, and I ate and ate like I didn't have to cook or clean up (because I didn't!)

We all made it out alive and even our car was there when we got back to port despite Mark leaving the window rolled down for the week with the keys in the glove compartment.

Ashton liked this car outside the kids area. He also liked to carry around ping pong balls.

Zach doing his usual, hanging out in the room eating pizza.

Zach is saying "2010" with his Japanese impression. He did that a lot.

I could not get Mitchell to make a normal face.

Ashton points to his favorite place, the glass elevator.

He knew right where the icecream was.

Playing miniture golf on top of the cruise ship.

Parker is able to make wind look good.

It was so windy this day, it blew Ashton over a few times, and almost got me.

Watching a show on the ship.

Ashton loved the glass elevators. And Parker loves to let his underwear hang out.

After ziplining there was a place to hold monkeys. This was my favorite thing.
They put a dab of yogurt on our hands and the monkeys came right up and licked it off, so cute!

Ashton running down the cruise ship hallway, he loved it.

Parker helped out a lot with Ashton.

It wouldn't be Mexico without someone throwing a lizard at you.

Ashton loved the balcony. We were just glad he didn't throw anything overboard.

Eating in the most expensive restaurant in Mexico after the ziplining.
It didn't taste good either - well the salsa was good. The fried icecream was a scoop of icecream with
Cocoa Krispies on top.

Surprisingly Ashton LOVED the boat ride, the bumpier the better!

We did one day of Disneyland before hitting the ship. We just couldn't be that close and NOT go!
Having your picture taken in front of Small World is quite possibly the worst thing ever.

Mitchell was awesome in his top hat and skull cane.
