Finally. The long awaited North Carolina pictures. We start out with a shot of Mark and his "little" nephew Stephen in the background.
Cousin Jacob and Zach at Carowinds. They really had a good time together.
Closer. Mark, cousin Stephen, Zach, Parker, cousin Jacob, Mitchell.
All the crew at Carowinds. Somehow they all managed to be wearing Carolina blue. Mark, cousin Stephen, Zach, Parker, cousin Jacob, Mitchell.
Blue steel.
Everytime I tried to get Mitchell to pose with these scenes at Carowinds, he would do some awesome pose or start dancing.
Mitchell loved this tower ride. He said it was an alien ship.
Dancing up a storm.
Lazytown Sporticopter.
We went to NC for Mark's 20th reunion and somehow this is the only picture I captured with our camera. I did, however, take a ton of pictures of Mark and his friend Richard (right) with those disposable cameras they left on all the tables.
We got to ride some horses at a friend of Uncle Byron's house.
There were a lot of crickets. This was much cooler than all the horses.
Mitchell was a good rider.
Mitchell after an explosion at the Student Union store at NC State University.
We went to the North Carolina State Fair and had a good time. This was the most exciting ride Zach rode. He was dizzy for hours ;).
Love that horsey.
Parker is a big boy and rides the swing.
Parker feeds the miniature bulls.
Zach took great satisfaction in being able to feed all the animals in the petting zoo with one handful of feed (I'm not so sure how the animals felt about his accomplishment.)
Mitchell feeding the goats.
This ride went backwards. Spooky.
Mark had this going pretty fast but had to stop on account of Mitchell. Later Mark and his brother went on it and were wobbly for quite a while.
On the Merry-Go-Round. Mitchell really loves this ride.
The boys and the winning pumpkins. And you didn't think you would get the see the biggest pumpkins in North Carolina this year.
Joan, me, Mitchell with his favorite horn he had to have, Jennifer (2), and Parker.
Oh the livestock, the best and most pungent part of the fair.
Zach is checking behind him to figure out where the smell is coming from.
Zach touches a pig's snout.
Mom, Mitch and some pigs. It was really stinky in there.
Mitchell and the sheep.
Parker doing his best to crush Grandma on the whirlwind of death.
Zach and Mark riding one of those spinning rides.
The boys riding the log ride. Apparently it was super scary if you look at Zach's face.
Parker rode a super scary high ride.
AT the fair and having a fabulous time.
The boys and Mona (Mark's sister) played a nighttime game of soccer.
Feeding Mona's new babies.
They liked to suck on fingers.
Going for an outing at the mall. Nothing like flying thousands of miles to visit the same stores they have at home.
Parker took his responsibility very seriously.
Mark's friend Richard and family (in the back where they belong), Mona (green shirt) and us.
At a very fishy smelling seafood restaurant with Mona and Mark's friend's wife Cordruta.
Eating at K&W, Mark and the boys favorite cafeteria style restaurant. You can have all the sweet tea you want, but they only sell soda by the can.
Grandma and really cool Zach.
Grandma and Mitchell
Grandma and Parker.
Everyone in the van. They were out of full size cars so we got upgraded to a van with a dvd.
Resting on Grandma Hedrick's couch.
Here is one of the puppies that lives on Joan's front porch. Mitchell loved them. Posted by Picasa
